Alison Bale

Specialising in Mindfulness teaching

Alison is a mindfulness teacher, offering one-to-one and group courses.

She has a special interest in working with people in chronic pain, offering a blend of mindfulness teaching and pain science. She has worked with people in pain for more than 20 years, first as a chiropractor, and now focusing on mindfulness teaching. Her experience allows her to bring a unique perspective to the multi-faceted aspects of living with pain. Her experience also shows how learning mindfulness can reduce stress and tension, and restore confidence and ease.

She builds her courses around the attitudes of mindfulness, using meditation, exercises, stories and poetry. Her work is informed by modern pain science, neuroscience, and traditional philosophy.

She is an accredited teacher with the UK College of Mindfulness Meditation and offers courses online and in person.

She is also available for groups and organisations, for in-house mindfulness courses and workshops, exploring issues such as stress reduction, resilience, communication and creativity.
