INTRODUCTION TO MINDFULNESS FOR PAIN WORKSHOP
Alison Bale
The event is an introduction to using mindfulness for pain. It is aimed at anyone living with chronic pain and/or long-term illness, and could also be valuable for anyone caring for someone with long-term pain.
Attendees will get an overview of the science behind what causes chronic pain and how mindfulness can help.
You will learn what mindfulness is (and isn’t) and some easy ways to practice it in daily life, and will also get to sample some short guided practices during this introduction.
Come to find out more about the topic of mindfulness for pain, and whether this is something you would like to study in more depth, via a six-week course.
