RELAXATION FOR DAILY LIFE
Geoff Skiggs
This free event is for anyone interested in the practical uses and applications of learning to relax in daily life.
It is based on the use and development of Ki through the practice of the Japanese art of Ki Aikido.
Ki loosely translates from the Japanese as life force energy and is known as Chi in Chinese.
Ki Aikido is a soft, flowing martial art, similar to Tai Chi. It promotes the continuous exploration of the self through working in harmony with a partner.
It is designed to promote confidence and clarity in your daily life, enhance calmness and relaxation and help to understand your true self. It is fun, enjoyable, non-competitive and suitable for all ages.
This free workshop is designed as an introduction to the ki principles for the curious who are looking for new ways to explore their connection with self, others and the universe.
Regular ki aikido classes are also held at Uckington and Elmstone Hardwicke Village Hall, GL51 9SR on Tuesday evenings 7-9pm. Contact Geoff on 07913 995 457. First class Free.
For this class, you will need to bring your own water bottle and wear loose comfortable clothing.
