Tickets on sale from 2nd October 2026
Dr Matthew Geary
Join affiliated therapist, author and wellbeing educator Dr Matthew Geary for an introduction to The Pause—a simple yet powerful practice inspired by Buddhist contemplative practice that invites us to slow down, reconnect with ourselves and respond to life's challenges with greater awareness and compassion.
Together, we will explore:
- Simple practices to help create space between life's demands and our responses
- Ways to cultivate greater presence, clarity and emotional balance in everyday life
- Gentle guided mindfulness and reflective exercises
- Practical tools to help bring the Pause into daily life, relationships and moments of stress
This welcoming session is suitable for everyone, whether you are new to mindfulness and contemplative practice or looking to deepen your approach to wellbeing. No previous experience of meditation or Buddhism is required.
Leave with a greater sense of calm and clarity, along with practical techniques to help you pause, reflect and respond with intention in everyday life.
This session takes place on Thursday 5th November 2026.
If the session is sold out, please contact us by phone 01242 254321 or email cwp@isbourne.org to be added to the waiting list.
