Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi and other Qigong systems
Qigong (pronounced "chee gong") is an ancient Chinese healing art and self-cultivation system. This includes simple, gentle movement, posture, breathing techniques, self-massage and meditation to energise the body, strengthen the immune system and calm the mind.
Karen has 29 years of experience in the healing benefits of Tai Chi and Qigong. She is certified as a Shibashi Qigong Instructor by Master Wing Cheung at the Tai Chi, Qigong & Feng Shui Institute and has studied (and continues to study to her great delight) with many world-renowned Qigong and Tai Chi Masters and Teachers.
Karen guides weekly online and in-person community classes as well as working with residential homes, schools, wellbeing retreats, festivals, NHS workers, companies and charity events. She continues to spread awareness of the benefits of Qigong, organising World Tai Chi and Qigong Day in her hometown and featuring on BBC radio and television.
