What does coaching with Amy look like?
Amy facilitates a unique approach, blending conversation, trauma informed coaching, deep
listening, mindset and emotional work, journalling, energetic and body based practices to support you in reconnecting with yourself on a deeper level. She draws on several psychological and physiological models within the layers of her coaching practice.
These include:
● Person centred coaching,
● Psychodynamic coaching,
● Polyvagal theory.
In practical terms, that means she sees you (and empowers you to see yourself) as a whole, truly capable and empowered individual within the broader context of your life and experiences.
Through her coaching sessions Amy will support you to safely explore the role that conscious and unconscious programming might be playing within your relationship to the world. She'll also guide you to work with your body and nervous system to truly understand your needs and potential challenges at the root. Amy's work is holistic and trauma informed.
How might coaching with Amy help you?
What you get from life coaching depends on where you're starting from, what your intentions for the coaching space are and how you meet the unfolding experience, but some things you could expect are:
- A renewed sense of connection to the person you are right now and clarity around what you actually need and want in this phase of your life.
- The ability and confidence to start meeting those needs and making things happen so you can start living the life you really want to.
- A relationship with yourself that's built on understanding, compassion and support so the voice in your head feels like a friend, instead of the enemy.
- A deeper understanding of your body/mind connection and how you can use this to make more aligned decisions and take supportive, empowered action.
- A more regulated nervous system and an increased window of tolerance, which means a greater sense of internal safety because you finally believe that you've got your own back.
- A tool kit of resources and strategies that fit and genuinely support you, so when you're faced with challenges you know and trust that you can meet them.
- That feeling of a big exhale when you realise, you don't have to figure it all out on your own, you're not and never were failing, and change is possible.
- The fist pumping liberation of recognising that YOU are the highest authority in your own life and you get to do it (yes all of it) your way!
Working together with you, Amy will create a safe space where you can reconnect with yourself, explore, play with ideas and identities, examine your needs and wants and lean into the possibilities of life...free from judgement and consequence.
Life coaching offers you dedicated time, space and support to help you move forward in life,
whatever that means for you and Amy is with you every step of the way.
