Roger Scriven

Offering Psychodynamic Counselling

Roger is a well experienced psychodynamic therapist counselling adult clients and couples in open-ended, time-limited and Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP) therapy for many years. He achieved his diploma in psychodynamic counselling with one of the leading training organisations in the county. This was followed by further training in Couples and Brief Therapy work.

As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Roger abides by their Code of Ethics and regularly attend Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events on a variety of topics relevant to current and future client work.

Roger offers a safe, non-judgemental space in which to explore thoughts and feelings. This includes looking at what may have brought events to this current point in time, what is going on in the here and now and how the past may have shaped the present. As a psychodynamic therapist, Roger does not direct the work but seek to walk alongside the client on their journey.
