Mary Pearson

Specialising in meditation

Mary began her career as a teacher in Secondary Schools. In 1997 a series of traumatic events made her decide to make big changes in her life. She trained as a meditation teacher, and in other modalities including counselling and stress management.

In 2001 Mary moved to Cheltenham and began to teach meditation at The Isbourne - she is now its longest serving tutor. After the publication of her book ‘Meditation, The Stress Solution’ Mary got together with Helen Galpin and they set up The British School of Meditation to train people as accredited meditation teachers. The company has gone from strength to strength and now has centres all over the UK. Mary is passionate about spreading the benefits of meditation.
