Yoga benefits every body shape and stage of life. Jo Fellows invites you to take a journey into yoga as a tool for life on and off the yoga mat. This class is suitable for beginners and more experienced yogis alike.
Yoga postures (asanas), breathwork (pranayama) and meditation strengthen our mind-body connection, improving not only overall fitness, but mental strength and wellbeing. It teaches us how to centre ourselves, calm our minds, and brings peace and relaxation.
Science confirms that it reduces stress levels, cortisol, lowers heart rate and blood pressure leaving you feeling more focused and harmonious. Studies also show that practicing yoga improves body awareness, which can lead to better eating habits. Exercise, diet, and sleep become something you think about naturally, all three become a necessary and vital part of your life and livelihood. This, in turn, can lead to a better quality of life, increased self-esteem, and a desire to take better care of yourself and your body.
