Tai Chi Movements for Wellbeing is a gentle movement practice aimed at all ages and abilities, which may be done seated or standing. It draws on the traditions of tai chi and qigong as well as modern neurological understandings to offer support for a healthy 21st Century lifestyle. Participants will learn a complete sequence of 16 movements to support wellbeing. The sequence of movements is highly adaptable to individual requirements and ongoing support for home practice is offered by the accompanying DVD.

TMW is offered at The Isbourne as a 5-week programme, during which time the complete sequence of 16 movements is taught. Ongoing learning support is offered by the official TMW DVD (available from the course tutor at an additional cost of £10), and by attendance on further courses at a preferential rate. In addition, the practice can be enhanced by joining a TMW Deepening class which John offers from time to time.

John is a Holistic Bodyworker and Spiritual Coach. He is founder of Mandooka Gati, a psychospiritual process focussing on profound relaxation of body and mind aimed at personal and spiritual development, leading to lifestyle change. The foundations of the programme are Movement, Stillness, and Touch. John is certified by the Esalen Institute of California and ITEC in the UK to offer holistic massage, and is certified by TMW Training Ltd. to teach Tai Chi Movements for Wellbeing.
