John Thorne

 Tai Chi Movements for Wellbeing (TMW) is an easy to learn practice which is highly adaptable to individual requirements. Suitable for all ages and abilities, it may be practiced either seated or standing. TMW was developed jointly by a Tai Chi Master and a Clinical Psychologist so it draws on the traditions of tai chi and qigong as well as modern neurological understandings to offer support for a healthy 21st Century lifestyle.

TMW is offered at the Isbourne as a 5-week programme, during which time the complete sequences of 16 movements is taught. Ongoing learning support is offered by the official TMW DVD (at the additional cost of £10) and by attendance on further trainings at a preferential rate. In addition the practice can be enhanced by joining a TMW Deepening class.

John Thorne is a Holistic Bodyworker and Spiritual Coach who founded Mandooka Gati, a psychospiritual process focussing on the profound relaxation of body and mind leading to personal and spiritual development. He is certified by TMW Training Ltd to teach Taichi Movements for Wellbeing.
