This six week course is specifically designed for women who are experiencing that time of life where we are moving through our Menopausal years, from the peri meno pause stages right through to the focus we must put on our post meno pause phase.
The menopausal transition affects each woman uniquely and in different ways. The body begins to use energy differently, you may experience changes in your bones or heart health, your body shape and composition, or your physical function.
You might experience difficulty sleeping, night sweats and feelings of tiredness and irritability during the day, headaches and migraines that are worse than usual and muscle aches and joint pains.
On an emotional level feelings of anxiety, stress and feelings of unease can arise out of nowhere.
Therefore this course is very suitable to any body who would like to do something about it. From improving our mental health, to reducing our stress and moving towards much improving our wholistic happiness.
Sunny will guide you through a restorative physical practice where we allow the body to move gently and rest in postures. Through these restorative postures we encourage restoring energy right back to the parts and places of the body and mind where it feels depleted, bringing the maximum benefit for your particular circumstances.
Practicing different breath work which is specifically designed to address and improve your feelings of anxiety, stress and elevating feelings of unease. Uplifting the needs of achieving that peace and balance within.
Each class has a mindful meditation; uniting your mind and body to move your day consciously to be more relaxed, productive, and balanced bringing awareness of a positive outlook on life.

Sunny is a qualified Advanced Yoga Teacher based in Cheltenham, UK and registered with International Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500. She is also a Certified Senior Shantiseva Vinyasa Yoga Teacher, Ashtanga and Bhakti Teacher registered with the Shantiseva Yoga Institute based in Whistler, Canada. With over 4000 hours of training completed, she still continues to evolve and deepen her own personal practice.
Sunny grew up with a very famous dad who was ordained a Knighthood by the Dutch Queen for all his good work! She often found herself on tv with her dad in her youth and is used to the spotlight.
Please bring your own Yoga mat if you wish, there are spare if you don’t have one of your own. Props for the practice are provided.
