We can all make a difference to the health of the world around us, but sometimes it’s hard to know where to start. Our Living Better on a Small Planet series of talks is packed full of inspiration and practical tips on everything to do with ethical, sustainable and compassionate living. With a different topic each month presented by a local expert, we’re exploring everything from reducing the damaging effects of plastic in our oceans to how you can easily repurpose household items – with new topics being added all the time!

In the first event in the series, we turn our attentions to gardening. In busy urban environments our green spaces are more important than ever. No matter how big your outdoor space, this opening talk in our Living Better on a Small Planet series will explore how we can garden with the planet in mind, what we can do to reduce our overall impact and ways to create a garden which we can happily co-habit with our native wildlife.
Emma Reuvers of Wild Edge Garden Design is a garden designer based in Cheltenham. Having always had an interest in the natural world her focus is to create gardens that not only work for her clients but that provide habitat and food for native wildlife.
