For many of us, sleep can be the biggest obstacle in maintaining good overall health. It doesn’t help that we’ve been conditioned to believe the quality of our existence hinges on whether we sleep well or not! In this free 4-week course sleep expert Joanna Kippax wants to dispel common myths and give you the tools you need to maintain a regular and successful sleep schedule.

Joanna will teach you:

  • The basics of how and why we sleep.
  • What happens to our bodies when we sleep and why is it important?
  • The effects of worry and anxiety on our sleep.
  • How to manage mental and physical barriers (such as anxiety or pain) that stop us from sleeping.
  • The pros and cons of naps and weekend lie-ins.

You will also get the opportunity to ask questions and discuss personal sleep struggles with the group, if you wish.

This course is part of our free community wellbeing series that aims to help you cope with your mental health during the Coronavirus Pandemic. The courses are available to anyone who needs them, all you need is access to the internet. Once you register, the Zoom details will be emailed to you.

All of our free courses are available at no cost to you, however, if you feel you are in the position to, we would greatly appreciate a small donation. As a charity, we rely on donations to keep us operational. If you do not wish to donate, please put a 0 (zero) in the donation box.

If you have paid a set fee for the cancelled session, you will get a full refund. Donations are non-refundable.
