ONLINE: INTRODUCTION TO YOGA NIDRA
Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep as it is commonly known, is an immensely powerful meditation technique, and one of the easiest yoga practices to develop and maintain. It's easy to follow at any age. All that your body needs to do is lie down on the floor. But even if you can't lie down on the floor, you can still do this practice seated.
Yoga Nidra offers a space to meet yourself exactly where you are at any given moment and is designed to deliver deep physical relaxation and rejuvenation. By gently stimulating the sub-conscious mind, the practice can also support subtle shifts in long-held emotions, and patterns of thought.
Yoga Nidra gives you the opportunity to feel your emotions without judgement or without becoming overwhelmed. You are able to just be.
Leah Robinson will guide you through this free 4-week course where you will learn:
- What Yoga Nidra is all about and develop trust in the practice and facilitator.
- How to experience short Nidras
- How to process your emotions through creative expression such as journaling or drawing
- A deeper, less prescriptive experience of Yoga Nidra.
- What it is like to experience Yoga Nidra alongside singing bowls
No experience necessary; this course is designed to give you your first experience of Yoga Nidra with the option of continuing practice at a later date.
