INTRODUCTION TO MASSAGE FOR BACK PAIN CPD: 6 hours

Magdalena Lorynska

Do you know someone who suffers from back pain and would benefit from a massage?

This course is ideal for those interested in learning the basic techniques of back massage in order to help friends and family, or for those considering a career in massage therapy who would appreciate an introduction to the subject. By the end of the course you will be able to safely perform a back massage treatment. You could then progress onto learning full body massage, or go further and get a practitioner qualification to become a massage therapist.

This highly practical course is Quality Endorsed and will provide you with the knowledge and skills to offer back massage to family and friends. This is not a professional qualification but would be a useful introduction to the subject for those thinking about training to become a massage therapist.

You will be taught:

- basic massage techniques

- when not to offer a massage

- how to give aftercare advice

Please note this massage course does involve some skin to skin contact with other students.
