IN-HOUSE: BELLY DANCING FOR BEGINNERS

Belly Dance is suitable for everyone, encouraging movement from the feet to the hips, the shoulder to the fingertips and even the head. No muscle is left untouched. You will learn Egyptian moves, techniques and dances (both modern and traditional) to great music. Maria will teach you how to be in control of your body, empowering you to feel good inside and out!

Each term you will learn a combination of key moves every Belly Dancer should know, and how to then put the moves together in an exciting group dance choreography to different styles of music. If you have an interest in Egypt, there is a bit of history and culture thrown in too!

Wear comfortable clothing. Dancing is done bare boot. Due to COVID-19 Maria is unable to supply hip scarves please make sure you bring your own.

Maria is a certified fitness instructor, teaching Belly Dance to all ages and fitness levels.

The Isbourne are asking all those attending in-house classes and events to please bring their own yoga mats, blankets, cushions and refreshments. We are unable to supply any of the listed items for the foreseeable future.

Booking a place for these sessions will close 2 hours before they are due to start so if you wish to attend please register before then.
