HOW MEDITATION CAN ENHANCE YOUR CREATIVITY
We are all creative, we may just not realise it. Artist and meditation teacher, Leah, shares a little of her own personal journey into meditation and creativity, then looks a little deeper at the science behind practice.
You’ll consider the different parts of the nervous system and how the glandular network is activated in relation to the stress response. Examine how modern life places stress on the body-mind and how we are being pushed to evolve at a much faster rate than our natural ability to adapt to evolving conditions. You’ll look at different elements of meditation practice, breath control, focal points, mantra and mudras, and learn how these practices can support our body-mind operating systems and enhance our ability to live creativity.
Some of Leah’s original artworks and original songs will be used to support the presentation and there are several guided meditations within the talk for an embodied experience.
