A side-effect is generally something we think of as a negative effect of a drug. In actual fact, a side-effect is really just something that happens along-'side' what you're intending. It turns out that when we're kind, there are 5 side-effects that are very good for us. Kindness makes us happier, it's good for the heart, it slows ageing, it benefits relationships, and it's contagious.

Learn all the new scientific evidence for these side-effects, including how 'molecules of kindness' actually alter the shape of our blood vessels, help clean them, and reduce blood pressure, and how kindness can even counter the 7 major causes of ageing. You'll also learn how we're 'wired' to be kind, and even how a small group of people with compassion and kindness in their hearts can chang ethe world.

Biog: After completing his PhD, David spent 4 years in the pharmaceutical industry, developing drugs for cardiovascular disease and cancer. Inspired by the placebo effect, he then left the industry to write and teach about the mind-body connection. He is now author of 9 books.
