Will Gethin introduces Lorraine's fascinating world of personality profiling

On Sunday 15^th November, the Isbourne is delighted to be hosting a brand new workshop with eminent graphologist Lorraine Davies, whose handwriting analysis skills have been employed by numerous businesses seeking help with employee recruitment and by private individuals looking for self knowledge, vocational guidance and insights into emotional problems.

Lorraine is able to provide personnel staff at businesses with information on the potential strengths and weaknesses of their applicants, insights into their approach to work and an indication of how well they might fit in with business colleagues.  She can also gage the intelligence, libido and health of applicants.

‘Graphology is the most powerful diagnostic tool,’ Lorraine explains, ‘it reveals how a person thinks, feels and acts in life and the experiences garnered over the years are also revealed in the writing.’   Graphology is also a powerful holistic tool, she says, helping people to know themselves better and highlighting the need for balance between body, mind and spirit.

John Edward, who runs palmistry and tarot courses at the Isbourne, was so impressed by Lorraine when he heard her talk at a business seminar that he duly invited her to come and give a talk at Cheltenham-based business networking group, BING ((Business and Improvement Networking Group), attended by self employed holistic professionals.   ‘Everyone who had their handwriting analysed during the BING session found her to be incredibly accurate,’ he says, ‘and she gave me a remarkable insight into my own abilities from just two lines of writing.  It was like getting a check list on the various aspects of my personality - most of what she said was incredibly perceptive and the process highlighted some areas I needed to improve on.’

Isbourne’s Centre Manager, Janie Whittemore, also found Lorraine’s analysis of her handwriting to be extremely astute.    ‘I unwittingly sent Lorraine a sample of my handwriting on a compliment slip,’ she says, ‘and was astonished to receive the surprise reading she sent back.   At first I couldn’t believe that four pages were about me - all I had written was “thank you” on a comp slip, and when I wrote it I had wondered if it was wise!  And I was astounded by her in-depth insights into my character – insights even those who’ve known me for years wouldn’t have established.

‘I was convinced she must have been tuning into me in a psychic or telepathic way,’ Janie continues, ‘and yet it was simply on the strength of the handwriting I’d given her.  Her skills are useful for someone wanting to understand how those around them work and she certainly highlighted areas I needed to work on myself.  The good news is that the writing changes as you change!’

In her forthcoming workshop at the Isbourne, Lorraine will teach how to read handwriting and if you’re brave enough to bring along a sample of your own with a signature attached, she can tell you what your writing says about you.  She will also look at case studies of famous people, revealing what their handwriting brings to light about them.
