Introduction to Meditation - Mary PearsonThis five week course will introduce you to the main meditation techniques so that you can try them all and discover which form suits you best. You will learn breathing techniques, visualisation, the use of mantra, and different strategies to help you become calmer and more relaxed. Learning to meditate is a powerful antidote to the stresses of modern life. 'I have enjoyed our meditation sessions very much and they have hugely helped me to learn to shut off the outside world and all the "chatter" that constantly buzzes around in my mind. It is such a relief to find "that moment" when all is well - although it does take some practice, it is enjoyable. Medically, it is helping my blood pressure too, what a bonus!'
