Many people's daily lives are hampered by such conditions as osteoporosis, arthritis, Parkinson's Disease and the after-effects of strokes, all of which can affect our balance and make us moresusceptible to injury through falls, potentially lowering our confidence to move about safely. As a result of lifestyle changes over the last couple of decades, conditions affecting balance are no longer the preserve of old people but are starting to impact on those in their thirties and forties.


If you'd like to improve your ability to maintain balance, stay supple and build muscle strength without the exertions of an exercise class, try this medically approved and scientifically proven sequence of movements and exercises with your specially trained OTAGOTM instructor, Jo-Anne Hale. Along the way, we'll be learning useful additional information about which foods help to prevent such conditions as osteoporosis and what to do in the event of a fall.


It's never too late to start as the biggest improvements are often seen in those whose balance, strength and flexibility are initially the poorest.


Cost: £25.00 for five week course / £6.00 per session
